Tech Empowerment
How Can We Bridge the Tech Gap for NGOs?
We are nonprofit professionals dedicated to understanding and addressing the technological challenges faced by NGOs. Through field visits or online consultations, we assess the tech gaps and capabilities of NGOs. Our goal is not merely to implement numerous tools or push NGOs towards technology just because it’s free or discounted. Instead, we aim to enhance NGOs' operations without overwhelming them with unused software.
❝ The Problem ❞
Technology Gap in NGOs

According to the NGO Darpan Data (2023), there are approximately 1.87 lakh registered NGOs in India. However, many of these organizations lack access to tech consulting and awareness.
Rural NGOs Lack Support

NGOs in rural areas, especially those without city offices, often continue using outdated methods for data collection and fundraising. Despite their impactful work, they miss out on networking opportunities and resources to scale their efforts.
Sustained Tech Support

NGOs operating for over a decade may receive volunteer support or tech assistance, but often face challenges in maintaining these systems. Without proper guidance, credentials may be lost, and software may become underutilized, hindering their technological progress.
❝ The Solution ❞
Our Approach to Bridging the Tech Gap for NGOs
At People4Good, we believe in providing practical and sustainable technology solutions tailored to the specific needs of each NGO. Our approach focuses on
Awareness and Support

People4Good is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering NGOs. We conduct ongoing research and development, providing awareness on leveraging technology, fundraising, program design, proposal writing, and other essential tasks.
Focus on Rural NGOs

Our primary focus is on organizations in rural areas. We visit their locations to understand their work and challenges, offering tailored solutions. Additionally, we organize events to help NGOs build valuable networks.
Comprehensive 3-Month Program

We work closely with NGOs for three months to thoroughly understand their operations, strengths, and weaknesses. Based on this, we set up technology and processes to streamline their daily work. We provide training to all employees, ensuring they can effectively use the new systems. People4Good remains a lifelong partner to these NGOs, supporting their ongoing development and technological needs.
