Plastic Free Tamil Nadu
Redefining Environmental Responsibility
Plastic Free Tamil Nadu is a statewide movement uniting communities, nonprofits, and volunteers to combat plastic pollution at its roots. Through awareness campaigns, eco-friendly product distribution, and cleanup drives across cities and villages, the initiative has empowered thousands of citizens to adopt sustainable practices. Covering 520 schools in 12 districts with the support of 150+ student volunteers, the program has inspired young leaders and created a ripple effect of environmental responsibility. Schools, self-help groups, and local businesses have joined hands to reduce single-use plastics, leading to measurable reductions in plastic waste and increased adoption of alternatives like cloth bags and biodegradable materials setting a powerful example of collective action for a cleaner, greener Tamil Nadu.
Ration Kit Packing & Distribution
Employee Engagement Activity
People4Good, along with corporate volunteers and local partners, organized ration kit drives in Madurai and Chennai. Over 300 families received essential groceries through these initiatives, supported by Way for Life, Madurai Health & Leprosy Centre, and St. Thomas Education & Charitable Trust. The activities reflected true community spirit, with volunteers and partners working hand in hand to bring relief and smiles to families in need.


Digital Lab Setup
Digital Empowerment for Young Minds
People4Good, in collaboration with Project Shiksha, is setting up digital labs in 7 government schools across Chennai. Each school is being equipped with 10 laptops and a custom curriculum designed to enhance computer literacy and digital skills. This initiative aims to empower students with hands-on learning opportunities, preparing them for a technology-driven future.
Career Guidance for Students
Helping Students Shape Their Future
People4Good, in collaboration with Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology and Voice Trust, organized a career guidance program for MSW, IT, and Commerce students. With 170 participants, the sessions covered diverse career opportunities, insights into corporate vs. nonprofit work life, and practical tips on leveraging AI and LinkedIn for job readiness. This initiative marks the beginning of a continuous series aimed at empowering students with the knowledge and skills to build meaningful careers.


Swach Sagar Project
Empowering Youth for Cleaner Oceans
People4Good partnered with I.I.M.U.N. and WEEDS NGO for the nationwide Swachh Sagar initiative, supported by the Indian Navy under the guidance of Admiral R.K. Dhowan. In Chennai, 20 student volunteers (aged 14–22) led coastal cleanup drives, collecting plastic and waste that were responsibly upcycled through the Material Recycling Association of India (MRAI). The campaign not only protected marine ecosystems but also empowered youth as environmental stewards, with students receiving globally recognized certificates for their contribution.
